EMS to Speak at NACE Military Conference

Darryl Corbin, Technical Director for Enviroline Monitoring Systems (EMS), will be speaking this week at the NACE Tri-Service Corrosion Conference in Denver, Colorado. Darryl will present a technical paper, written by himself and Elfriede Willson, EMS Marketing Manager, entitled "New Technology for Real Time Corrosion Detection" before procurement, operation and maintenance personnel working for and with the United States Armed Forces. Enviroline Group will also be exhibiting from booth #206. This conference's goal is to "seek out the most advanced technologies in corrosion prevention."

This presentation is scheduled for Thursday, Dec 6, 2007 between 8:30 and 11 am at the Hyatt Regency in Denver as part of the Corrosion Detection & Monitoring Segment of the Conference. During this presentation, Darryl will describe the corrosion process, how hydrogen is formed and the various types of catastrophic failures that can occur as a result of hydrogen formation. He will also analyze some of the various methods for integrity management, including hydrogen monitoring, outlining each method's pros and cons. Lastly, Darryl will present two case studies from oil & gas companies currently using hydrogen corrosion monitors, why they chose a hydrogen monitor and what impact this technology has had on their overall integrity management program.

Enviroline Monitoring Systems (EMS) is a non-intrusive early corrosion continuous monitoring system for tanks and pipes, providing satellite communication, web reporting and e-mail alerts. With no downtime to install or retrieve data, EMS is a cost effective solution for corrosion detection, process monitoring, remote locations and high risk areas.

Enviroline will post the NACE Tri-Service Conference Technical Paper to the website shortly - stay tuned!
