Enviroline a Guest on Sky Radio
Released August 20, 2007
Enviroline Group recently was a guest on Sky Radio Network’s special in-flight radio program “Best Strategies in Corrosion Management” which will air worldwide on the American Airlines “Business & Lifestyles” Channel during the month of September 2007.
As Sky Radio Network describes, “The Show will feature some of the most prominent organizations and forward thinking leaders speaking on behalf of the benefits of corrosion control for virtually every major industry today.” Teresa Valdes, Enviroline’s Regional Sales & Marketing Manager, was one of several experts in the corrosion industry, and the only representative from a coatings manufacturing company, that participated in the program. Per Sky Radio, the other participants include Louis Vincent with NACE International, John Dedic with KMT WaterJet Systems and David Francoeur with FLIR Systems.
Enviroline was invited to share its opinions on corrosion management due to its long history and experience as a coatings and lining supplier. Enviroline’s founder, Paul I. Meli Jr., invented one of the first corrosion prevention linings in the 1960s for underground storage tanks to meet EPA regulations. Today, Enviroline continues its commitment in protecting the environment while saving tank and pipe owners time and money through zero VOCs, single coat and fast cure technology.
Enviroline’s interview centered on managing corrosion in the petroleum industry, where maintaining production and refinery capacity is critical in preserving a healthy economy. In the interview, Teresa outlines three important criteria in choosing a coating or lining supplier in today’s corrosive environment, 1) cost effectiveness, 2) environmentally friendly, and 3) fast turn around. With a fast application and fast cure, like with Enviroline’s coatings and linings, owners can return their tank or pipe to service quickly, saving on application costs as well as the cost for lost production and downtime. Better quality high-resistant coatings yield less downtime and costs in the future for leaks and repairs. Additionally, consumers and regulators today are demanding environmentally friendly “green” products more than ever before, not only to protect our ground and water from leaks, but also to protect our air from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during and after application. Offering such “green” products is not new for Enviroline – the Enviroline technology has always provided a high level of protection with zero or extremely low VOCs.
